Bio:
Luciano Vistosi (Murano 24 February 1931 – Venice 14 May 2010) was an Italian designer and sculptor who grew up immersed in glassmaking at his family’s furnace. In 1952 he co-founded Vetreria Vistosi to produce glass objects aligned with modern design, collaborating with prominent designers such as Magistretti, Sottsass and Zanuso. Later in his career he expanded into sculptural glass, exhibiting internationally and creating notable works including a glass cross for Basilica di San Marco. His work is regarded as influential in Italian glass art and design.
