Bio:
Björn Ekegren (born 1955) is a Swedish glass artist educated at the Orrefors Glass School. His work explores the poetic interaction between form, light, and colour, treating glass as both substance and medium of illumination. Through his collaboration with Glasverket and later his own Höganäs studio, Ekegren has produced a series of unique figures and reliefs that blend Scandinavian glass tradition with a modern artistic vision.
