Mitra/Canute nut cracker from Georg Jensen

Length 15.5 cm. when folded.

Mitra is designed by Gundorph Albertus, Georg Jensen's brother in law, in 1941. Silver was in shortage during World War II, so the cutlery was made in steel, Georg Jensen's first thing in steel.
There have been close to 100 different parts in production of this cutlery.

The cutlery handle has the shape of a catholic bishops hat, a mitra, hence the name.

Its in fine condition but have some wear to the upper part.
