Unique vase from Hjorth

Height 18 cm.

The vase is signed UH and L Hjorth.
Ulla and Maria Hjorth owned and worked at the factory from 1982 and 10 years until it turned into a working museum.

Ulla Hjorth was employed at the factory from 1969 until it closed in 1992.
As a student of Richard Kjærgaard, she was a trained functionalist and believed that a piece of ceramics should fulfill function before aesthetics.
