Petronella oil lamp by Henning Koppel

Sold

Height 32 cm.

The lamp is produced at Louis Poulsen.

The Koppel family buys a summer house at Fejø in 1961, which may be the reason why Henning Koppel in 1962, also at the request of Poul Henningsen, designs the Petronella lamp.

In 1963 it is described in Louis Poulsen's staff magazine, as being "smart from a sculptural point of view thanks to the Koppelian curve".

The lamp was completely taken out of production in 2013.

The lamp is in good vintage condition.
