Jens Harald Quistgaard was a Danish sculptor and designer and one of the driving forces behind the spread of Danish Design around the world, mainly in the USA.

He quickly broke through in the US and Japan and his work are being shown at several major museums in these countries. His great breakthrough was as simple as a teak and steel cutlery from 1954. The same year he creates the company "Dansk", which was his sales channel.

Jens Harald Quistgaard is the designer of many of Raadvad's famous kitchen utensils, including the well-known can opener, "Hajfinnen".
