Shaving mirror with hardanger carvings

The style is named after the Hardanger area in Norway where woodcarving have been widely used to decorate buildings and furniture.

The mirror is beautifully carved with neo gothic elements, rosettes, crosses and at the top half windows.

It is cut in a single piece of oak and with a back in mahogany.

Unfortunately, its original support leg is missing.
